BMW Assist and Google Maps - help please

I've registered and am able to send locations to the sat nav in the car using the BMW Assist web site but I have trouble using Google Maps. Obviously I can find locations but selecting 'send' button the map page doesn't have the send to car option - just an email tab. How do I get the send to car option on google maps?
FRom BMW website "How do I send Google Maps data to my vehicle?
Search in Google Maps for the address of a company, e.g. a hotel or restaurant. Then choose the "Send" function above the map. In the "Car" menu, enter the BMW Assist user name of the user you wish to send the address data to. You can also send a message with the address if you wish.
Can I send Google Maps data to vehicles other than my own if I wish?
Yes, simply by entering the relevant BMW Assist user name in Google Maps.
Which search results of Google Maps can I use this function for?
Currently, Google supports the transfer of company addresses.
How do I access the Google data in the vehicle?
From the display screen in the vehicle, select "My Info" from the BMW Assist menu. Depending on the vehicle model the BMW Assist menu will either be on the front screen or in the Communication menu. The received message can be transferred to the navigation system at the press of a button and used for route guidance; alternatively the telephone number included can be dialled using your own Bluetooth telephone."
