I know this was discussed a while back, but couldn't find it.

Did most on here rubbish it? I saw it yesterday and loved it....thought it was gorgeous.... might even go as far as saying, I'd prefer it to a....no, not sure, but it was bloody lovely!

I've totally fallen in love with the looks of them, but I think they've let themselves down on the colour schemes. That said, I'm unbelievably tempted to go for one in the dark red and black, for some reason I love it. Who knows, looking a bikes at the minute and having a hell of a hard time deciding what I want.

The new Blade looks like someone parked a nice bike too close to a fire and it's melted the front end! A tail tidy would partly remedy the back end, but it's not pretty.

I remember that when I had my Hayabusa I would never just go and look at it in the garage or hold it with much affection, despite it being a brilliant bike to ride. The new Blade does a similar thing.

Nice bike, but wouldn't let on reside in my garage.

So I was the only person who hated it then? I thought it looked slab sided with a flat nose, not nice compared to the GSX-R or R1 at all.

I thought they had made a mess of the nose & lights, too stubby with stupid eyes...but I`ve yet to see one in the flesh in all the colour schemes & bikes always end up looking better than the impressions in the magazines suggest.( with the exception of Suzuki`s B King...the concept stage was lovely but it somehow became a bit of a turd....)

It maybe technologically advanced, but I couldn't live with the looks, as most purchases are made on looks, this is a major factor for me, hence I bought a Gixxer.

I was up at the show on Friday and had a chance to have a very good look at the bikes Honda had on the stand. The only version that looked resonable was the red & black colour scheme, but I still wouldn't have one.

I will have to reserve judgement till I have seen it in the flesh on Wednesday. Have not had a positive response so far from seeing it in the mags.

a Fireblade has always been my first choice when buying a bike, this time it wasnt and i went for a 600RR and will upgrade to a 1098 when i get a new bike, the new Fireblade looks horrible.

I saw it at the show yesterday, hadn't seen pictures of it beforehand so I was quite shocked when I realised it was supposed to be a fireblade.

No, saw it today and I thought it was shite. Actually worse in the flesh. Not nice from any angle.
