Stalling when coming to stop?
Discussion
This seems to be a on / off problem. I first noticed it when after a long cruise then coming to stop the revs just dropped and the engine stalled, she normally idles around the 900 mark.
Last night the car was fine even through heavy traffic (water temp up to 98), then after quick blast up dual carriage way coming to stop at a rounabout she stalled. Then continued to stall even stop until I pulled over and stopped for about 5 minutes. on start up and the drive home no problems what so ever.
I have been advised that this may be dirty injectors, the car had only done about 250 miles per year for the last 3-4 years with PO. Will injector cleaner cure this problem or is the problem else where?

Hi,
Injector cleaner will certainly not hurt so long as you run it through the system relatively quickly such as a planned long drive. Injector cleaner can, if left in the system for any length of time, be harmful to rubber parts, 'O' rings and the like. Whenever using it, it's best to run it through the system in one run.
