Hi Guys

Has anyone had a complete re-spray caried out on their Noble M12/M400?

Im thinking of biting the bullet on a car which isnt necessarily my favourite colour but seems pretty good in all other respects.

Any ideas on how much this would cost and the impact, if any, on resale value?

Thanks

Z

to do the job properly i would presume it would cost the same as a normal car, maybe less prep time as its fibre glass, but i would want the lights/windows out and rebonded, doors off, wings off etc. V6 GTO has had his resprayed via insurance claim i think in an intersting hue. Maybe he knows the true cost? I would guess a minimum of 3k for a nice job. If done well i cant see an issue with resale personally

Thanks ajg.

Anyone else had any experience in re-spraying their beloved???

Just as a matter of interest what is the general consensus for top 3 most popular colours??

Hi there,

My car was originally silver when I first bought it, had it completely stripped and repainted in Kandy Electric blue, worked out around £4k in all but I had the Dash done and various other body mods too.

Dave
What body mods did you have done and what did you have done with the dash?

I had the door handels taken out and filled, so the work with solenoids fitted with buttons, The dash was removed and changed round a bit for my LED dials the painted the same colour as the car and refitted, I had the rear spoiler removed and the holes filled, a set of Sagaris headlights fitted and blended in properly and the afterburner rears fitted.

Dave what front end did you have before the Light change was it a 2.5/3 or a 3r? Any Idea on the cost for the light Mod and were the afterburners from Noble mods or the marcos ones?

Cheers

Hi Adrian,

They mainly do suspension for race and rally cars but I know one of the guys there and they made up some suspension for me and setup the whole car.

Hi Bondy,

I had the 2.5 front end with just the round lights, it was really pure luck I got the sagaris lights as they are an integral part of the front end, I was at a sports car breakers down south looking at an M400 Engine and spotted the car and asked if I could have the lights and the guy agreed as the car was so badly damaged, fitting and painted was done with the colour change and the rear lights I have are the Marcos ones.
