Body parts for wedge coupe needed...
Discussion
I had a tangle with a petrol tanker on the way to work last week, and lost.
To control the repair bill I need to find a donor car to cut a portion of the body off and graft in to mine - the alternative is likely taking molds off of another car and remaking these sections (lots of hours of labour, not something I can do).
The biggest problem is the back end of the car, I need the rather complex portion at the rear upright window, up to the point of the rear wheel - pictures will help show what I mean...

I also require the front corner (note the bumper is almost undamaged, but shown in the good shot for reference to make it clear the series of my car; 1985)...

And I also require the rear bumper cover (although that should be available from TET or somewhere(?)), I have included another before shot with the cover in place...

Let me know if you can help, or if you know of a likely breakers that may have a decent shell.
Thanks,
Rob.

Meant to add there's a company called TET mouldings who specialises in TVR body segments , though I am not sure if they have fixedhead moulds.Worth a google i am sure.(uk) if you have nothing closer.
Goodluck

Thanks for the quick replies,
I tried TET, they don't do the coupe, but do the back bumper.
I will give TVRCARPARTS a try, I am also going to get hold of Classic Motor Works in the US.
Thanks for the compliments on the shine - try to keep it clean - look forward to having it all shiny again

Your best bet might be to keep a watchfull eye on ebay (uk) and wait until an early tasmin coupe comes up for sale - perhaps one that been off the road for a couple of years with no road tax or MOT (road-worthiness certificate)
At this time of year, you might be able to pick such a car up for £500 and ship it back to canada.
That way, you'll have the mould you need AND a full cars worth of spares!

Apparently TVR Car Parts have so much stuff, they don't even know what they have!
They have moulds, too, I don't know if they have geared up to making panels yet.
Also - I've sorted out similar levels of damage myself. Best advice is to get it glassed up as soon as possible, but don't paint it (or only a cosmetic coat), drive it for 6 months (if you can wait that long) which will give time for all the stress cracks to appear, then paint it properly.

IF you get really stuck give me a shout. Im Might be able to presuade one of the racers to let me take a mould of the body parts you need, and knock out the rear panel....
Cant TET do you the front corner ? I have a front end mould but its for the s1.5 not s2.

...and thanks for the offer to see if a mold can be taken. Although I have what I believe is the only 350i coupe in North America, there are other coupes, and possibly I one local to the shop will allow us to pull a mold. I am having TVR North America do all the work, and they do a brilliant job on glass work - but any thing I can do to reduce the bill is good!!Cant TET do you the front corner ? Cheers,
Rob.

Glad to say that I now have my car back from being rebuilt. Have enjoyed driving it over the weekend, and it is looking lovely. The work was done by TVR North America in the Toronto area, and Doug did a smashing job.
