DS Games for 7 year old girl ?

Hi

After a few DS games for my daughter this Xmas and looking for recommendations.


I'm sure she'd like one of the many Pet Hospital / Horse Riding type games but there are loads to choose from and are they any good ?

Also a relatively simple platform type game too ?

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is very simple to play and should keep her occupied for quite some time.

Nintendogs would be a safe bet too, probably better production values than the horse riding ones as it's a Nintendo first-party game.

She had "Dogz" for the micro ages ago and never really bothered with it, I'm sure that Nintendogs is much better but we got a real dog a few months ago !

Zelda might be a wee bit old for her, i just completed it and some of the levels at the end will be hard for her i think. Get SuperMario - the original and best!! The Pirates of the Caribbean games are quite good too.

Why don't you get Nintendogs but buy the version with the same dog that you got a few months ago? There's different versions with different dogs, you'll see they have a different cover. A lot of people love Animal Crossing too.

Phantom Hourglass is a fantastic game, keeps you enthralled for hours, quite confused as to why Nitendo market it as a game for girls though?

Not sure they're saying it's a girls only game, but definitely one that would appeal to them.

The Cooking one, Ninetendogs, and the brainteaser ones are all well liked by my 8yr old Daughter
