I must be cheap. £300 for a set of discs sounded not inexpensive to me. Unless you are at the track quite a bit,I'd guess they would be plenty fine.

I'm using them at the moment along with some Pagid RS42 pads and they're great. A lot better than the OE discs. thumbup

Me too. I like them. I'm using on the track for the first time on Saturday too. I'll let you know how they stand up.

I haven't used them, but would in the future. As budget, but upgraded, discs I've always heard good things about them......

I use them on mine with Pagids and they're much better value than the Lotus drilled discs

Yeah, I've just had those exact ones installed on my S1 111S. Not had a chance to try them out on the track yet, but they seem fine with a bit of "spirited" hehe road driving.

The EBC Greenstuff pads look good value on that site too! so I could go for EBC discs AND pads!

They look pretty much identical to the EBC Ultimax discs that I bought from Motorsport World a month or so ago for (front only) £127.93 + gestapo tax.

I used Mintex 1144 pads and the result is excellent - only a very minor squeak every 5th press or so!

Havent used these exact ones but their equivalent on my S2 (at similar money too) vast improvement over orignals and good value IMO

Just a word on pads. I had a set of Greenstuffs put on my car and took them off after about 1k miles and put on a set of Mintex 1144. The Greenstuff pads stopped the car OK (although some dispute this and my use was purely on road) but they gave very little feedback and didn't inspire confidence. The Mintex pads were a night and day improvement.
I'm using them with the EBC discs BTW.

I have these USR discs on my sport 160. Seem very good, done 2 track days on them so far and feel fine. Best thing about these discs is they are completely coated black so will never rust or corrode so stay looking very good unlike any other disc. I'm using them with Mintex pads. You can get them cheaper than elise parts if you search for them on the net.

Depends who you speak to, I've been to plenty of meets and often a third of the cars there are running them. I've even done an emergency stop with them without a problem.

Use Pagids these days as I wanted something for track use. Just need to get on track more often banghead

Very true lol ! Mind you, I was thinking about getting Padgid RS42 next but they are so expensive at £200 a set. I currently have the Mintex 1144 pads £100 a set and they seem very good. I'm going to try the next pad up in the range Mintex 1155 which are a bit more track bias than the 1144's. only a few quid more too at £120 a set
