Sorry John, just been looking thru this.... (Sunday was pi55 up night here)

I have 10a for the ecu & 15a for the fuel fuses. There appear to have been quite a few subtly different ways of wiring up the fuses and all have different ratings (fuel pump / purge valve / sensor heaters... moved around).

I would try with lower rated fuses and up them if they blow - not very scientific I know, unless you want to trace out what is supplied from what in your harness and work it out?

I put a 10A in mine when I rewired the car. It hasn't blown yet (after 2 years) so this seems a sensible value to me.

I would use a 15A if the 10A kept blowing in normal use. (like the fuse for the ignition coils on my car)

Glad you said that Dave, I'm pretty sure 20/25a have been mentioned on here in the past ~ which just seemed way too high to me - non of the cables are particularly substantial...

Its also pretty dangerous, since a lot of folks just put a bigger fuse in when a circuit keeps blowing... and putting bigger fuses in can be a recipe for trouble yikes

Thanks guys, Spend, are you saying that the fuse for the fuel pump also fuses other things? cheers, John.

Can do, some wiring diags show the supply to the relay being fused, which then powers the purge valve & lambda sensor heaters? I was actually surprised that there were so many RR / LR / TVR alternatives when looking into this for you than I ever thought possible - just cos you had to go thru the diags to get the ref for the fuse location then the ratings on another page!

You should be able to work it out from looking at the fuel relay and fuse + the colour of wires going to the back of the relay & which pin of the relay the fuse is linked to.
