Hi all,

i have always wanted to drive a Jag, so i was wondering whether any owners here would like to swap cars with me for a few days. My car is a black TVR Cerbera 4.5.

I would prefer to swap with an xkr, xjr, and any classic jaguars, but would consider anything apart from x types. My Cerbera is in excellent condition, and very very fast.

So if you are interested let me know

Interesting proposition, i have always fancied comparing my R with a TVR! Chalk and cheese springs to mind.

Pity i'm in Merseyside!

James hi, if you are interested pm me, maybe we can sort something out halfway?

it would be very interesting to compare as the power output should be roughly the same and also they are both black, with 2 small seats at the backbeer

I am Nr Coventry (Midlands) and had a Cerb (& Tuscan) before.
Have a 911TT for weekends and an XJR for day to day.
(Would be happy to swap for a few days, although I need to get a spider bearing done first (wouldn't want it to break on you).

And by the way, there is absolutely no comparrison between an XJR & a Cerb.
The Jag wafts along quite quickly, the Cerb is ferociously fast IMO.

Hi Paul,

thats greatwoohoo, after a recent engine rebuilt i also need to get my tappets and timing chain tension adjusted (booked in for the 18th). So Anytime after this would be ok for me.

I can imagine that the jag and the cerb are very different animals when it comes to driving, but i think there are some parallels between those cars apart form fueldrink.

Anyway i ll get in touch when my car is ready. In the meantime dont hesitate to contact me if you need to discuss insurance, and/or any other arrangements.
Thanks

piquet
