Would this fit under a 400se?

I'm thinking not, but if anyone can advise me otherwise it would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
L33.

I am guessing the boot layout and sills are slightly different on a 400? Not beyond the bounds of a fiddle?

Edited to add, guess here, by no means knowing what I am talking about and all that.

Looking at the other parts he has for sale, I think it's a series 1 280i chassis. So I reckon that's a no-no to the 400SE...

def an early car, and a 280 by the look of it.. Its got the early swinging arm suspension as well rather than the later A-frams.

You probably could put it under a later body, but fitting a v8 would be quite a bit of work and then you've still got the early suspension

Come on own up who bid on it.

As G said it an early Chassis, with trailing arm rear suspension. and no mounts for a v8.

I'm going to mail him some questions, so will ask.

4) "Topless Taz" Taz racer ( on loan to a college who are currently fettling it hopefully back on track next year, engine undecided)
