Partial body lift

I have searched for a decenet thread on this, but can't find one....

The outriggers on my 500 are in good shape but I would like to lift the body just enough to see daylight all round them to give them a good clean and recoat....

Is there a quicker method to lifting the body, than following the 'full body off' route.
