I just Renovo'd my Chim's blue roof. What an amazing product!

I didn't think it was that discoloured to start with, but two generous coats of dark blue later it looks and feels very different.

I took the panel off and did this separately. I spent a little time putting masking tape around the plastic window and the body work and covered the interior of the car with a sheet to catch any drips while I did the rear section. I then did exactly what it says on the bottle

Initially because the blue liquid is royal blue and the Chim has a dark blue roof I was a little anxious about the first brush stroke! But as it's absorbed and dries it darkens. Strange stuff, because after the two coats I had loads all over my hands and assumed it was there for good. But surprisingly it just washed off with soap.

Took about 20 mins for each coat and I left it around a couple of hours between coats.

I bought a 500ml bottle and reckon I have one more coat left which I will use at the end of the summer.

What will you be using to waterproof the roof after this treatment?

Turtle Wax Soft Top conditioner for a month and then a couple of coats of Thompsons before it's time to start all over again!

Thompson's Water Seal about £10 from DIY shops. It's used for painting porous brickwork etc but it widely used for waterproofing canvas etc. You need several coats to optimise the result.
