Gears of war online help

Hi all is there any way of leveling up online i seem to alway's end up playing a load of pro's due only been playing online for 3 weeks work the missus and being on the wrong side of 40[a bit slower than you young un's lol]i can't get as much time online as i would like so my skill level at the game is pretty shite.At the start is was hilarious just getting blown to bits every few minutes now its annoying i just don't stand a chance well that till the early hours of this morning i found some guy's around the same level so it was pretty cool.
If any of you that are er not so good or don't mind one of the team only getting a few kills please if you don't mind add me to your friends list[not got any yet how sad is that lol] some of these yanks take the game far far too serisuosly [a few really sarcastic messages later] which are amusing like you s**t f**k**g quit!!!

Nope, no player matching feature on Gears.

Are you playing ranked matches?

If so give the player matches a go, as these are normally less intense than the ranked ones.

Or they were a few months ago, havent played Gears in ages now.

Tryed on both this morning intense was the word looking at the profiles nearly all the gamers were pro think i'm a bit out of my depth maybe i should stick with Forza 2 that's one game i can play,but the blast of gears is just to inviting even though i don't last that long

Playing GoW online these days tends to be as you rightly said "intense", as most of the come and go gamers have already moved onto something else, leaving most of the diehard gamers that are going for the 10,000 kills achievement (or however many kills it was now, can't remember)...

There have been a few Ph GoW nights over the last while, maybe worthwhile just sticking with the player matches for a while as opposed to the ranked ones and get into the ph games when they're set up as then at least you know we're all just having a bit of fun anyway and can always help you out if you need help as well

As opposed to 7 spotty 6 year old yanks playing in the same match as you and either continually killing you, calling everyone but them gay and camping out in the same spots every round with the sniper rifle or boomshot
