I'd have a punt at Normandy coast as we said before or through Italia to the 'Ring. There are some really nice choices in that part of the world!!

The respective answers are a) one of Eurocamp's excellent family-friendly sites in the Loire valley b) a cosy but modest hotel on the harbour-front at Honfleur c)the F1 motel on the outskirts of Le Touquet (don't forget your golf clubs) d) a seedy 2 star hotel in the Latin quarter of Paris e) a seedy 2 star hotel in the Latin quarter of Paris f)just stay in the Maison Blanche car park with enough lager and merguez for the week or g)the Holiday Inn, Luton. Trust me, I'm a Doctor.
