Well, after all the research and such, I am really happy with the wheels and tires I chose. I went with the Ronal 18/9.5 rear and 18/8 front with Yokohoma AVS 295/35/18 rear and 225/35/18 front. I was worried the 295's would be too big as they are recommended to fit a 10" wheel. But all turned out great with no rubbing even at full turn. I also installed the BOV. Thats about it until I return home next time. Then the stereo will get some attention.

Hi,

Nice looking wheels there!

Would you mind if I asked where you got them from and how much you paid? I'm going to do an upgrade on my 88 Turbo so I'm trying to decide which is the best way to go.

Thanks,

Thanks. I got them directly from Ronal USA, www.ronalusa.com. Call and speak to Gary Allison, tell him I "sent" you. He is a good guy and knows all about the fitment for the Esprit. Total shipped was approx $2200, and arrived in one week from the order. A good deal I think.

Super! The fitment looks great too -- no bulging past the fenders.

Enjoy!

Luke.

Very very nice John. I like the style a lot. I would like to get some larger wheels some day, but was wondering if my wheel arches are the same size as yours, with not being flared?

Fitting new wheels certainly do make the Esprit look better, and those look great!

I have been thinking about doing the same thing with my 88 Turbo but I'm told that because it has the inboard brakes the wheels that fit the later Renault gearbox with outboard brakes won't fit my car. Does anyone know of aftermarket wheels that will fit my car?

Any help information would be very helpfull.

Thanks,

Mark
