Bit of a long shot putting this here I know, but I'm getting no response to my ads in the Uni guilds or job centres...

I need a part time assistant to work with me over the busy (summer) season which has already started. Would suit someone on Uni holidays or travel/gap year.

No experience required (would be working with me), just common sense and physically able to do the work (cleaning pools, carrying chemicals up to 25Kg) and a courteous nature (to customers and me wink )

Anyone want to escape the English winter for a few months?

Hey Tim, I'd love to!

I'm going to be at a bit of a lose end, but from January unfortunately.

I don't mind working in Aus for a while, I like doing jobs like that. I used to put up marquees during my summer hols at uni.

I woke up this morning to be greeted by our first snowfall of the year.
While the UK is being battered by high winds and rain, some PHers are sat by the pool drinking G&T's (you know who you are), I'm getting snowed on.

I thought I would take some piccies though they're not too good as it's not very light outside and they aren't even that pretty, hell, it's Kazakhstan, there really isn't anything pretty here to take pictures of. Other than me of course.
...I have to add that I hate the cold and would rather be sat beside a pool...

Is it snowing anywhere else?
Was the G&T comment for me or XJSJohn? wink My favourite summer drink; has to be Bombay Sapphire though thumbup
What are the local kazak girlies like?

Sorry it's taken me a while to reply...

Wouldn't mind a wee bit of Bombay Sapphire right now. You still looking for that assistant? It's now -30C here and things are getting desperate!

The kazakh girlies are in fact very pretty, really the best thing about this place. And they smell nice.

Gday Bob, just been looking at your myspace page. We seem to have a lot in common (apart from me being 20yrs older wink ) I wanted to do Mech Eng, but ended up doing Metallurgy instead, worked as a foundry metallurgist then production manager - foundry manager. Have quali in production & inventory management (APICS CPIM)

I'll email you.
