Any ideas where I can obtain speed camera downloads, the gps speedometer thingy and mobile camera warnings for my tom tom?

TomTom offer their own download of speed cameras, which I've never tried to be honest.

PocketGPSWorld also offer a database for a reasonable fee, which I have used and think it's excellent.

Get the ov2 and bmp files, copy and paste them into your TomTom map folder and you're away. Customised voices are also available, rather than just having Boings, Cows etc

ETA - have a look at an app called TripMaster as well

Used the Tom Tom Database a couple of years ago - it was poor to say the least.

Tried the pocket GPS world one - very good .

Wife now uses the Talex downloaded database .... which is superb. Has all the usual sites but seems particularly up to date and good (in our area at least) with mobile sites ....

Cheers all, I acquired the pocketgps one this mornign and have tested it, very good... the warnings is a good idea as well!

will the pocketgps files fit on the standard memory card or will I need to buy a larger one?

They'll go onto the standard card no problem, the PocketGPS base isnt a large install. There's room on my TT One for a seperate set of ogg files inplace of the standard warnings too, think it's a standard 256 card, whatever it came with
