My First BMW - Z4 Coupe

Hi,

Got my first ever BMW (albeit a used one), and have to say I am amazed at the feeling of build quality compared to previous Mercs and Volvo's.

Delighted with it.... except for the Run Flats.... which will be replaced as soon as the current tyres are dead.

It was one of the major reasons for choosing this one over the (quite a few) others available... it just seemed "right" somehow in that combination.

I used to have a E46 M3 cab in Slate Grey with Cinnamon leather. This is very similar and looks lovely.

Seriously thought about an M, but the company opt-out allowance would kill me on Fuel and Maintenance. Have to say, I do not feel I need any extra performance than the 3.0 provides.

Love the car! I believe my 130 has the same engine and I agree with your comments re performance/costs etc - my budget wouldn't have stretched any further but I cant seriously imagine wanting or being able to use much more oomph and your Z4 is presumably a fair bit lighter and better handling. BTW - what is the boot like ? Would it take a set of golf clubs ? (Sorry if this is a sad question )

I think Golf Clubs would be a challenge, but will give it a go as soon as this &^*^*&^% awful weather has finished and I feel like going outside !!

As trackcar knows, I once went out to Tesco's and came back with a TVR Cerbera !!! Go on man...... whats the worst she can do ?

Yep you can, ive only managed one set in mine but im sure at a squeeze you could get two sets in. I would say the boot's more useful than my old S2000 but not as practical as my old TT with the back seats flat, hope that gives you enough amo for your mrs
