To change the time, perform the following:

Turn the radio on and wait for the time to appear on the display.
Press the TIME button for more than two seconds. TIME ADJ will appear on the display and the time will flash.
Press either SEEK arrow to adjust the hour.
Press either TUNE arrow to adjust the minutes.
Press the TIME button again to save the new time.
The radio will automatically exit the time setting mode if no adjustments are made for eight seconds.

apparently when you buy a silver car it means that you have given up !!!

i can identify with that, maybe next year i will buy a silver volvo and call the men in the white coats !! till then i just go yeeeeehaahhh with a big smile on my face !

whilst writing I have now had my ro for 3 months, is it the finding of others here that these cars are idiot magnets ???
i keep being tailed by astra's and other hatch's full of baseball caps, it is getting really irritating being overtaken and undertaken at their every opportunity, i really can't be assed racing them but lately i am beginning to fancy wearing a baseball cap !
is this normal ?

Lucky you.

In mt Vectra I get tailgaited all the time and people always seem to want to go faster than me. In the 'ro I never see anyone try it on. Big shame too as I am always willing to serve some humble pie

Yeah- it's the same woth the VXR8... I blame the spoiler
Lots of chavs with big exhausted cars. Usually I've got my young son in the back so not interested in anything like that.

Still yesterday, had a fully chaved up scooby (complete with race numbers) tailgating for ages doing the whole "rev then ft-tissssshhhhh" boost dump. Didn't stand a chance

Neil, if your next urge is to buy a Calibra with a big wing on the boot and chavved up wheels, then is really the time to call in the men in the white coats!
Enjoy your car and ignore the Corsas and Astras - they all love the Monaro anyway and just want to see what it will do!

whats this big wing and chavved up wheels ? would that make my ro go faster ? i have tried the black and white chequered tape ( 2" , 1" actually decreased hp ) and have achieved a modest 1 hp at the flywheel. other mods include a wife who gets a headache when i accelerate hard, this mod alone has increased ecconomy to appx 18.5 mpg, any other suggestions for non technical in-expensive performance upgrades would be gratefully appreciated.

i am presently considering replacing my wortec exhaust for a Halford upgrade , has anyone yet undertaken this modification ?

Get 6 or 9 points on your licence cop and fuel consumption on long runs decreases considerably. These can easily be picked up from your nearest police cashpoint machine identified by yellow boxes on bridges or grey ones on posts at the side of the road. On special offer at this time of year are suprise points in 3 to 6 denominations issued by hidden jam sandwiches normally at the end of long straight roads yikes
