A friend of mine has a Countach 5000QV and is having problems getting hold of 15" Pirelli P-Zero tyres for it, so there's a guy advertising (on the Lambo registry website) custom made 17"-19" Bravo style wheels for the Countach and he's considering fitting these. I've tried to mail him but can't haven't had a reply.... Anyone know who he is or can help me get hold of this type of wheel??

Re: tyres, try Motorsport Wheel UK (mswuk.co.uk I think) - but even with them they may be a long lead time order. I fluked a set on ebay last month for my brother in law too, so they are around.

Were they Rosso or P-Zero? He said the Rosso are easy to come by, but the P-Zeros aren't. I think he has his heart set on the bigger bravo style wheels, but if you ask me I reckon the car will end up looking more like a kit car....

Didn't Rossos supersede P-Zero's or something like that?

Two people I know with Countaches use Yoko rubber. I have a photo of which I can make out the words AV1-35 AVS which are 345/35 ZR15's.
Guess these are more readily available and probably cheaper than the Pirellis.

Why would anyone want to put non original wheels on a Countach??confused
It would just ruin it in my opinion. (Unless it was a rep in which case it wouldn't really matter I suppose).

Maybe I should just talk him into a set of Rosso's, it's probably the easiest and cheapest soloution. Apparently he's seen a Countach with these Bravo wheels and it looks sexy as hell. I suppose if it was a replica then you would want it to look convincing , ie the correct wheels, but it's the real thing so why not personalise it....

I've been trying to convince him to sell the bloody thing anyway. So not practical, and it's only done 5000 miles from new and is mint, so probably worth a lot of money. Then he could buy a proper performance car, preferbly German.......
