Chassis Dimensions

Just wondering if anyone has any blueprints for the S Series Chassis (S2) that I could get a copy of.

just to renew this post i would like to know of any known dimentions as i have a s/hand chassis with no history that i would like to check out before i get to far thanks

Hi - I will be measuring some areas on my chassis with a 12ft portable co ordinate measuring machine (accuracy 0.1mm) in the next couple of weeks if you are interested in any specific areas I can measure them as the same time, this could give you a compaison.

Will there be a S-series revival, birth of the S5?

That should not be a problem, measurement is due to start next week, if I get the body off sunday, the reason I am measuring the chassis area is that my 2.25 dia tube that the trailing arm are linked too are I think rotten on mine, therefore it needs replacing (Ill probably do both sides)and it needs to be done accuractly (within 0.1) not upset the current geometry. I have devised a method which I am sure will work and i am too tight to get the rear tracking realigned or to take it to a specialist to do the work. It will be reversed engineered in CAD (the rear mounting brackets area) so it can be remade cock on.

hi sean my chassis was rotton on the rear tubes so bad i had to scrap it but while i was making enquiries tvr spares in devon said they could supply all the parts as they had the tvr jigs but in the end i had nothing to weld to.i now have another chassis which im about to start to rebuild thats why i wanted the measurements as i dont know the history of the new chassis although it is very clean I Hope all goes well on yours and the tubes are not to bad as they are totally closed they should not rot from the inside out so be lucky ken
