Wii connectivity

Ok guys, I am officially stuck.
New TV (Sony 40' Bravia LCD) and home theatre kit (Sony)
Set it up last night with the sky box- everything worked fine- HDMI connecting the theatre kit and the TV.
Today, trying to set up the wii- popped the AV inputs, and turned over the TV to the correct AV setting- picture but no sound.
Where am I going wrong ?
Currently, the sky box is scarted to the TV, HDMI between TV and DVD/theatre kit.

If you turn up the sound on the tv does it work?

Which cable are you using to connect to your TV - is it the standard composite video (yellow red and white) or is it the upgrade component video cable (Red, Green Blue)?

If it's the latter, you need to connect red, green, blue for video and white, red for audio.
