After a lot of thought I've decided that I'll probably go for a 335dm touring rather than a 535dm touring.
I don't really need the extra space of the 5 and I think they are getting replaced next year which will annoy me.
However I wondered if any dealer folk you tell me if there was a plan to add that that sports automatic transmission to the 3...
If anyone has any thoughts, pro or con this idea I'd love to hear them

I would have gone for the M3 if it wasn't for my pesky kids! Saying that I'm over the moon with my 535D M sport saloon which arrived a few days ago. It was a real squeeze fitting a new born, 3 and 5 year old in the back with those massive child seats but they just fitted in. Although they have already got dirt on my lovely cream beige leather!

The 2008 model year change on the gearbox was the addition of the steering wheel paddles.
There is no saying that they won't add it for 2009 model year changes, that will be due sept 2008.
But that is a long wait for a maybe?
If you change now, maybe this month(
) then your chaange cycle should be in line for the new 5 and 3 series, allowing more choice for the next decision time.
However so long as you don't do the Contract Hire route, there is nothing to stop you swaping it earlier should a new model tickle your fancy in the coming years.
