I fancy taking a trip to Lambo Birmingham next weekend. Any idea if they are a friendly bunch? My wife is off to the Clothes Show thing at the NEC and I want to take my 10 year old to see some Lambos.

IMHO, sales were great, but the aftersales was truly shocking....which is why I sold the car back to them!

It's a problem only having 4 dealers in the country! You have to accept this which I was not willing to do.

@ sparky: To be fair they have been great with me and have catered to my every whim. It does help that I only live 4 miles away from the dealership and is on my way home from work!

@ johnfm: Yup, mine is one of the 'proper' lambo colours lol

I went in there on Sunday for a nose around and they were great. Polite and then just left us alone to mooch around. I think as long as you're respectful and not crawling all over the cars, and not getting in the way of legit customers then you're fine. There's some nice stuff in there at the moment as well - Murci & LP640, at least 6 Gallardos incl an SL; a Bug EB110, 997 Turbo, F430, RR Phantom and of course lots of Bentley barges.

Same attitude applied at the Porsche dealership in Sutton Coldfield, and there's a CGT in there at the moment.

HTH.

When I had the car, it broke down 3 times in the 6 months I owned it. The last (and re-occuring) problem was a leaking gearbox. They said they'd collect it, which they did but actually expected to drive it 60 miles to Bham.....with little oil in the box!

Cannot and will not fault the sales team though. They were A1. Just wish the rest of the team could have backed them up in the same style.

I've always found them a good bunch. I would call first, out of courtesy, though. It is a dealership, afterall, not a public gallery.

Have fun. And don't take your wallet. Impulse buys can be a bit scarey in a Lambo dealership! laugh

I hope they're not that friendly!! As much as I want one, the budget will not stretch.
