Toll HSV Racing Team win the Australian V8 series

For the second year running, HSV Dealer team have won the Super car V8 race series.

HSV DT and Holden Racing Team are teams managed by the Walkinshaw company based at Clayton, Melbourne next door to HSV.

Unfortunately, some of us are trying to correct Clarkson's view that we don't produce good Aussie cars (in another thread) and you have just pointed out that TWR are integral to the team that won the Aussie touring cars. Doh

The race teams have the benefit of Tom Walkinshaw's vast racing experience, but they are Aussie based, majority of engineers and technicians are Aussie, Race drivers are Aussie, and a high percentage of race parts are made on site or sourced locally. Does that make it Aussie through and through? In my book it does.

Tander is probably going to HRT (Red team)
Todd Kelly has gone to Jack Daniels Racing, sort of the third team to HRT and HSVDT
The other HSVDT seat is unknown at this point.
Ingall is going to race a Holden again with Morris
BOC racing will now be racing Holdens instead of Fords. I think McConville will be joing this team too.
