what happens when you turn on the ignition before the immobiliser kicks in....just after you unlock t
the doors as there is about 10 secs gap?
As this is the way u did it sat in the car i presume that it works ok that way?

when i had my engine re-built at austec i had a similiar problem which turned out to be the soldering melting on the alarm box, paul resoldered it an its been fine ever since.

Ordinarily I'd have said your key fob is unservicable but not if it actually unlocks the door.

OK, as Kev said, there's a delay between unlocking the car and the immoboliser kicking in. So if you're quick enough it shouldn't be necessary to press the button after switching on, if you switch on quickly enough after opening the door. So try this - unlock and open the door then put in the key as soon as possible and listen for the pump to prime. IF it does (as I think it will) then you could have a programming issue between your key fob and the immoboliser which Carl Baker http://www.tvruk.tv/ will sort out easily for you! Nick.

I think Carl is on his honeymoon at the moment. But he is definately the one to ask about anything TVR alarm related. May be a few days till you can get hold of him. Until then you will just need to put up with looking like a loser

But you have managed for the last 26 years so shouldnt be a problem.hehe

Its Ben by the way.
