Car cover from eBay
Discussion
Has anyone bought one of the £58.95 car covers from eBay?
I need a cover to keep the worst of the winter off my car as it lives outside and also need a cover for when I'm trailering the car to events, as I'm fed up with it looking crap when I get there!
If you have bought one what do you think? Any good, would it rip if the wind got under it if it was on a trailer? How fitted is it? Is it really tailored to the Cerb' or is it a universal fit?
Failing that, if anyone has a decent fitted cover second hand that they want to sell, please email me.

Hi Tim, not sure if this is any help to you, but I managed to pick up an indoor fitted car cover for a Cerbera (fitted wing mirror pockets etc), which I put on the car and then I just bought a waterproof cover on special offer from Halfords to put over the top.
The combination means that the car stays dry and the paintwork doesn't get scuffed when it's windy.

I was going to say that my breathable outdoor cover is great except when it gets wet as I have to put it in the boot when I need the car. Also being breathable, the car gets in a state if it rains, even with the cover on.
Looks like I need to go to Halfords...

- I meant 'please disregard my exceedingly feeble attempt at humour and carry on with the subject'. Better?
