Had it retro fitted by a dealer to a griff, and once you look into it it's more that do-able as a DIY job.I cant find the listing on e-bay(can you show a link?),but i'm sure i saw Andy Race's a/c bits on there recently,if so then you know they're from a good reputable sourcesmile

I can't imagine the wiring is easy to do, unless it's already included in the existing loom(s). For instance, there's a microswitch fitted to the temperature control dial with a short pair of wires attached that links into the same loom that supplies the dash gauges. Is this included in the kit (that I can't find on eBay either)? Other examples are the wires that go to the injection ECU and engine cooling fan circuits.

And without looking very closely at it, some of the plumbing looks awkward too, particularly the pipework that goes into the cabin.

Would be interesting to see what bits are included in the kit, i've ben trying to put together the necesary parts to do the retro-fit out here in Australia with bits i can get hold of locally.

Link to the ebay auction so i can see what's needed?

Thanks

It also requires the car to be air con ready i.e. have the same ventilation system as the air con versions. This was adopted across the range around 95/ 96 which means it won't fit the early cars. Very time consuming to fit as most of the dash etc has to come out which is why it was an expensive retrofit.

Hi Steve thanks for that, though it could be a pain to fit, mine is a 99 car so maybe a tad easier (I hope)
