What do you wear and what do you think of them??

Alpinestars
Arlen Ness Dainese
Frank Thomas
Hein Gericke
Joe Rocket
RST
Teknic
BKS/Crowtree
Other (post what make)

I mainly wear teknic leathers. bought about the same time as I passed my DAS. I bought them as they had very good reviews in the magazines. They felt comfey when I tyred them on and so allow me to move well on the bike. it's also handy they have a waterproof/windproof liner you can zip out when needed

I've got two outfits, both textile - one for winter, one for summer.
Winter one is a Frank Thomas Aquapore all in one jobbie. Very warm and 100% waterproof.
Summer outfit is a Rawland which has lots of mesh and is very good in hot weather.

Frank Thomas here, seems ok. Also wear Draggin jeans if not going for a high speed outing.

Dainese 2 piece leathers, which are superb. The only off the peg leathers that fit me without modification.

Textile-wise I have another Dainese set, which are OK, but I'll go for a longer jacket next time, but they are warm, comfortable and keep me dry in all but the worst conditions.

Texport Podium 4 one piece suit which I paid £600 for in 2003.

Quality suit that I'd recommend, particularly as Busters are offering them for £299, in limited sizes though.

I have had a set of BKS leathers since about 1996. Absolutely brilliant and still look pretty much like new.

I'm looking at the BKS as i'm hoping they will last me, just trying to get my head around the extra costs involved

Spidi 2 piece. Very happy with them, and they slider well on tarmac. Mostly comfortable, but the waist has reached it's maximum point of expansion.

When I bought mine there was a report in the motorcycling press about BKS leathers that read something like "given how much they cost, I wouldn’t want to fall off in them, but then, I wouldn’t want to fall off in anything else!"

Pretty much says it all really.
