Last NSL in West London ??
Discussion
My favorite road in NW London is Harvill Road between Swakeley's Road and Harefield. Come of the A40 @ Swakeley's Roundabout, head north towards Ruislip. take a left a the first roundabout and if there was a car in front of you, pull up on the side of the road to build up as big a gap as possible. Then FLOOR IT! after 1/2 km watch the deep dip, there maybe a slow car hidden in it, then up to the narrow bridge over railway, be careful of wet mud on the run upto the bridge. Now go all out for about 1km (great bends!) until you start to see the row of houses on your right (end of NSL). Get to the Mini roundabout and turn around and do the same again! Repeat between roundabouts until you feel your luck is about to end. (I've never seen a Po1ice car on this stretch of road).
Ijaz, I have had the fortune to commute on that very road from Ricky to Uxbridge - but on very few times enjoyed the road to it's fullest.
Mind the sweeping bend, the number of 4x4 drivers with trailers coming out of that tip needs to be seen to be believed grrrrrrrrr! And the tipster lorries never look when they pull out of the muddy sideroad by the railway bridge.

i lived in uxbridge most of my life and know harvill road very well.we used to race that road most nights when i was a young 'boy racer' circa 1990 (not the mahjacks kiddies,we were all in the station and we mostly had proper rwd cars ranging from a modified mk3 capri 3.1 all the way down to an austin 1300gt.......i had a 'tina.......aahh,those were the days!!) we used to go down harvill and up through harefield village and turn left at the mini roundabout and head down past the fisheries (f-ing nasty set of bends over the grand union!!) and then onward and outward on the country lanes and usualy end up tearing around black park or langley.
the harvil road area was a great place to hide on a fox hunt (esp new years green lane or down by blackjacks lock!).for those who dont know what this is its a group of people in cars fitted with cb radio's and one car b-ggers off and after 10-20 mins you all went out looking for them.
