Anyone got any advice as to the correct tyre pressure for 18" LM's with 225's up front and 265's at the back? Thoughts welcomed!

If they're road tyres then you actually want more pressure to stop the sidewalls flexing and rolling over, I use 40psi in the Z4M on track and it works a treat, tried less and the shoulders were destroyed in 1 session! Track tyres you'll need to be lower due the extra stiffness in the sidewalls, somewhere around 30psi when hot is usual so starting around 26-28 this time of year

Two weeks ago, on a dry Castle Combe, I was advised that I could go as high as 60 on the front and 40 on the back. (225 x 15 all round)

I opted for 45 all round and had a great time, with virtually no tyre wear! (Obviously didn't try hard enough!)

Thanks guys......Reckon 40 Rear & 45 up front sounds like the ticket.
Will this pressure not increase though to dangerous levels with the heat build up in the tyres?

You know what, it was a guy at Combe that got me going high on the pressures as well! The variation will not be as great with high pressures due to the sidewalls not flexing as much, try 40 all round, mark the shoulders wiht chalk and see how it goes, if the chalk disappears then you need more pressure, simple really

I understood that as a general rule of thumb, you should put about 5 psi more in.
