I am still in shock that companies like TVR and Marcos with their utterly fantastic products failed / were allowed to fail - utterly gobsmacked....

When Noble intends to jack his prices up to $200,000 and cars like the Lotus Elise after all these years survives with such nasty engines and basic construction..........Argggggggggggggggh - Is there no justice?

Surely somebody sensible (perhaps not the correct word..)- a true entrepreneur, should quickly step in and combine these models, utilise the US alloy Chevy engine (power, emissions, cost and genuine appeal making it favourite)- introduce a little in the way of improved chassis and body construction techniques to reduce weight and increase stiffness, develop magnetic dampers and aniti-lock option (similar to new Audi), offer a DSG paddle-shift, factor in perhaps Scottish labour and factory costing (+ all grants that would go with it) and away you go! - Then with the profits, go on to develop a compact 4wd hyperpocketrocket with a way out futuristic design, built from composites at under 1000kg. - Again DSG and built with stunning acceleration in mind (and engine character) at the expense of top speed. - In fact marketed with that as a positive. - Top speed 120mph, 0-100 in 8 secs, 30 mpg cruise thanks to power to weight

Are you out there?
