30 today - Omega Planet Ocean

I became a grownup today.. the big 30! My lovely wife got me my first proper watch. A nice shiny Seamaster Planet Ocean. I love it and I just thought I'd share my excitement with fellow PHers!

I also have the brown alligator leather strap on order so I can change the look every now and again.

42mm or 45mm

I got the 45mm and got a cramp in my elbow after wearing it the first day as it weighed so much!

Haha! I have the 42mm but I think that has a nice quality weight to it though. The alligator strap makes a big difference and for £150 you can change the way your watch looks dramatically. The strap is still on order, but should be with me soon.

its the best i have one too just swapped the strap from stainless steel to rubber lovely a mans watch

been umming and ahhing about the planet ocean in orange myself. think it will be a classic like the green sub in a few years? i like it anyway, regardless of what other people thnk, just curious............

i had the old look seamaster (not the bond one) and the new planet ocean is a much nicer looking watch
