I think I've found my perfect partner, lovely grey 4.5 LW Cerbera at Fernies. Forgotten how quick these things are!

Does anybody know the history of this car? I'm going to get in touch with the servicing dealer but it would be good to get a personal perspective.

Also, does anybody know where I can get parking in SE1 (Waterlooo) - I've tried loot to no avail. No lockup, no car - no what I mean.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Rob

Is that the one with the Armourfend on the front?
If so, we were drooling over that at the weekend, would be a nice one to complement the Chimaera unfortunately I don't think we will be in a position to purchase a sibling for ours for a few months yet.

I don't know the history of it but you can bet your bottom dollar that if it's at Fernhurst it'll be a good one. We saw 2 guy deliberating over 2 other Cerberas there on Saturday - I hope they both did the right thing!

Yep, I was there on Saturday with my girlfriend. Took the black one and the grey one out back to back. I'll make them an offer if I can get somewhere to park the dam thing!

Sod's law! For once I have the cash and now I can't park it!

I was there too!

Small world eh.

However my experience wasnt so nice. I now know exactly how Flasher felt over his Griff...

FWIW though I thought that black one was way over priced for its condition.

They had seven last week, how many were there?
Was the black a 4.5 1999/T? - listed as sold.

Lost me with the Flasher comment?

Go create some weather...

I know it sounds silly but you'll notice that many people blank out their registration plates on publicly available pictures. This is to prevent cloning etc. Normal practice on this site is to replace one or more numbers with an astrix.

Matt, you'll have to expand on that mate, I did a search as you suggested but couldn't find anything relevant.
There was a guy looking at choping in his Griff for the black Cerbie and another guy test driving a blue one - was either you?

I'll find the link and mail it to you...

I was the one looking at the Cerbs and getting told off for almost buying the Ultima by a very pregnant girlfriend.

Was there about lunchtime...

LOL - Looks like there was a veritable PistonHead posse down there this weekend then ... I was down there on Sunday with my 70 year old father in law expecting to have to convince him that my wanting his daughter to splash out up to £20k on a nice Chimera didn't make me the devil incarnate.

However he proved himself the bloody great bloke that I was always convinced he was when he looked at a few and said "Hmmm ... you know it's not a bad price at all bad for what you get - makes me wish I'd never got rid of the old Healey."

I asked him if he wanted me to get the keys for one and take him out for a spin ... "Nah ... take me out when you've got one" came the reply.

Thought the best comment though was when I took him down the back to see what else was in and he saw an R plate Cerbie in blue - may even have been a customers car in for work but Simon wasn't around to ask - anyway he came out with:

"That's nice, wonder how much they'd want for that?"

"Yeah, it is but I don't really want a Cerbie coz they're a bit small for me to get in and out."

"I wasn't thinking for you ... I was thinking for me."

Cheers Matt,
We were there for an hour or so 1400 - 1500.
Spent ages talking to Graham, try as I might I couldn't get the wife to take a Cerbea out, as I knew full well (and she later admitted) that if she had of got in one, the second she got out the cheque book would have followed. What's the old saying? "Slowly, Slowly, Catchy Monkey"?
Oh I can feel the excitement mounting, 'Which car to take today?'
Cerbie? Chimaera? Cerbie?Chimaera?
