Could anyone who has a sub-woofer of some sort let me know the position in the car where its been mounted,
The size of sub and also the make of the subs used? Then i can get an idea of what to fit in my motor.
Plus has anyone fitted a TV head unit yet?
Much Obliged.

I have heard of 3 sub installations.
A tube type sub just forward and below the edge of the passengers seat and covered with matched interior leather.

The second a sub that replaces the spare tire and ported into the compartment.

Third was removing the map pocket at the rear of the central tunnel and installing a sub box in it's place.
From the picture looked like an 8".

Someone did mention mounting sub behind the seats in the existing speaker holes but the air space is not the greatest.

I have a sub mounted in the passenger foot well. The entire last 8” is sealed and a sub is mounted facing the passenger feet. Not so great for long trips but the sound is great. Amps are mounted to the front lid.

There's a yellow Esprit half way down, with a TV on the passenger side and a map pocket mounting sub!

Kato,

I checked out the yellow Esprit as you suggested and noticed the air scoopes on the engine. What's up with those? Are they for an air to air intercooler?

I've got an active sub in mine, not quite as good sound but good enough.

They are very slim though and fit nicely upright in the sidewall of the passenger footwell.

Kenwood and panasonic do one.
