My Z4 3.0 had the restrictor removed as part of the ECU remap, most remaps have this written in to them, however, unless you have an M car there won't be much more to come, when I went to France for the Le Mans 24hr i had the car maxed on a number of ocassions and a top speed of 158 was the max GPS verified my sat nav registered and there was not much left if anything other than a down hill stretch or a following jet stream....

That's not bad for a presumably an earlier Z4 3ltr though. Came across one on the way back from Le Mans in a 993C2 a few years ago and tailed it at *ahem* European speeds for 100kms or so. Beemer was pretty impressive tbh.abarber said:
