i use it with no noticable difference...I will try it without antifreeze next time as the glycol in the antifreeze reduces the efficiency of water wetter. Water wetter has the anti corrosion properties anyway and can just top up with anti freeze during the onset of a cold spell next season...

I suggest finding out what your problem is though - for example my Chimaera doesn't use a drop of water - even after sitting in jams for ages with the fans blasting and the temp in the 90-100 range.
Using Water Wetter may well reduce the temperature of your Chimaera's coolant, but you ought to treat the problem, not the symptoms. Could be something simple as a dodgy expansion cap, slightly leaky hose/water pump gasket (many leaks evaporate in the hot engine bay so you never see them).

I tried it - made sod all difference.
Best conductor of heat is plain old water. However, what will make a huge difference is lack of pressure in the system and air pockets. Make sure you thoroughly bleed the system.
The pressure caps are prone to go on TVRs in my experience. If it boils up once, chuck it and get a new one. They only cost a couple of quid and may solve the problem at a stroke!

Antifreeze seriously reduces collant performance, and adding Water Wetter to an antifreeze heavy coolant mix will not work.
You need to reduce antifreeze content to the minimum possible, then add Water Wetter. For PAS cars thats about a 20% antifreeze content, non PAS maybe 10% (or even none if you don't expose the car to freezing conditions).
Simply adding Water Wetter to a 70/80% antifreeze coolant mix is a complete waste of money.

Well Mr. Meldrew (and I can see why that's your nick), mine was added to a 5% antifreeze mix and made sod all difference - so where's your explanation for that then?
