A couple of TDOs have made reference to the 'Southern Circuit' at Silverstone;
what does it consist of? It doesn't appear to be in the Dunlop Guide.

I think Silverstone are putting in a new pit wall in January so GP circuit is out of action. Good opportunity though to drive a different circuit at Silverstone.

Not a bad circuit at all, nice and flowing and just under 2 miles
makes a nice change to the Gp track which is so long i always fancy a cup of tea on the way round.

You should fancy a MuG of tea then smile

IMO it's not so much that the whole GP circuit is so long, it's the Hangar Straight where one needs tea! And this Southern circuit still has that.

Thanks for the pdf Scubiedoo.

I was instructing i a 997 RS today at SS South with Gold track. Great day, almost like a private test day, hardly anyone out on track! Was very slippy most of the day, but the south track is cool.

Here is me driving at Silverstone South in the Porsche 997 RSR http://youtube.com/watch?v=S3r86Z12UrMbiggrin

It was great! Yes, do it again please! When we did our private testing there, I remember it was the same price as Silverstone National to rent? South is much better then the National, just use South from now on please smile

Forgot to add my you tube link above, here is me driving it in the 997 RSR http://youtube.com/watch?v=S3r86Z12UrM
