SOS Dashboard Fault

I have a dashboard fault message concerning the SOS system in 07 reg 535D M Sport. I Drive says take to dealer asap but I would rather avoid that if possible. Anyone ever had this message or know of quick fix?

I get this and ignore it because

a) the warning goes away when I restart the car
b) the fault only effects the SOS call from the phone and is not of interest.

My car is a June 07 LCI 535D

The car is due its first service in 4000 miles so I intend to mention it to the stealer at that stage.

Had this fault a few times on the 07 E60's usually its a fault within Telecamatics control unit (TCU) and it happens when you first start the car and clears itself in a few moments or ignition off and back on.
There will be an error code in the control unit which can be cleared,if the fault happens again then the control unit is replaced.
The other time this happens is if you have a panoramic roof,what happens there is condensation from the glass manages to get onto the SOS button creating a short.
Trip to the dealer me thinks,they will probably want the vehicle for 2 days.This will be for diagnosis and parts order.Then fittment and Programming/encoding of control units

Message was still there this morning but I will ignore it until service due in 4,000 miles.

The cynic in me thinks these electronics are pre-programmed to give error messages just to justify an expensive dealer visit.
