Hi, I'm just finishing a LS1 (GTO/Monaro) installation into my Mazda RX7 and I'm having a problem in getting my Mazda tach to respond to the signal from the LS1 ECU. The older (pre 2004) LS1's are known to work ok with the Mazda tach but not post 2004, as apparently it sends a different type of signal. So can I ask if anyone has added an aftermarket tach or shift light to their Monaro and if so which one did you use? So I can contact the makers and see what sort of signal they require.

Many thanks.

I have my problem sorted now thanks, It just needed a 12v supply and a resistor in the tach feed for the signal to be seen.
