Land's End-John O'Groats
Discussion
I haven't got a clue what i'm talking about, but as that never stops me from passing comment, I would say three days, two nights in a Bond at about 50-70mph.
Sounds like a right hoot, but potentially exhausting due to the ride and the noise and relatively slow progress.
Good luck with it.

You should turn it into some kind of Top Gear race. See if you can beet a man who is using public transport to get there. Should be quite even.
If you didn't stop, and taking a google maps estimate for the journey its 15 and a bit hours driving.Off to the top of my head, compared to public transport:
Local bus to Penzance train station (hour?)
Train (probably have to go through London?) to Luton Airport (5 hours?)
Hang around for a couple of hours for a flight.
Fly to Inverness (2 hours)
Up to an hour for change-over to bus or train station.
3.5 hours bus/train to Wick or Thurso
Another hour or so local bus to John O'Groats.
You could easily gain or lose that at change-overs if you they're not at convenient times or there was any delays so you missed the connections (which in fairness, is 100% likely to happen in this country!). Depends how committed the driver was - almost 16 hours of motoring would need a few comfort and caffeine breaks!
