My chim resides midweek at my parents house. Unfortunately some utter lowlife scum bags decided to burgle the house in the early hours of this morning. Didn't nick a great deal from the house but made off with the old mans Merc and took my only set of keys for the TVR!!!. The car is covered and parked behind 2 other cars so I don't set the alarm, to make matters worse the thieves obviously plipped the key fob and actually set the alarm. What a total ball ache!!
Anyway I think it best I change ignition locks, can these be gotten from a Vauxhall dealership?
I'm trying to arrange the car to be recovered somehow to a Local indy as it is effectively a sitting duck. Failing that any suggestions for the most sensible and practical way of immobilising the car. The car has a Clifford alarm as opposed to the original Meta system.
Anyway must go, endless phone calls await..........

Remove the HT Lead, it will not be starting then, but chances are the little scrotes who hiested the keys will be reading this website as well.

Just remove all the leads.

I would be tempted to remove some if not all the wheels..That way if they come back it will be obvious that the car is not going anywhere.. and they might just leave it.If they get into it and can't start it due to HT leads or no ecu they might feel like give the car some GBH.

I think another recent thread said Mr Baker was away until the 13th, new alarm keys and senders would be required as well as the ignition I guess.

You can get new keys programmed to the existing alarm unit.

Hurrahsmile the next door neighbour just brought round the keys. It appears the thieving scum discarded them onto his front lawn.
Many thanks for the replies everyone. Just ordered a spare plipper and going to get a key cut this afternoon. Not going without spares again!!

Oh and if the thieving scum are infact reading this thread.... I hope you die of a very hideous illness real soon and hopefully before you have had chance to breed.
