Hi,

after much research I've decided that sprinting / hill climbing is the sport for me (for the time being anyway).

Can anyone recomend a club / championship in East Anglia (I live in Norwich)? I am a member of a couple for doing 12 car events but they're not into sprinting.

I'm looking for friendly and welcoming. I haven't bought the car yet - I can decided what's suitable for the championship I enter -but I've always fancied an Elise. What ever it is it would need to be road legal and relatively small (the garage already has a motorcycle and several bits of boat in it) but needent be pratical for everyday use. If it wasn't the Elise I like classics: Midget / Spitfire etc?

Cheers

Have a look at http://www.aemc.org.uk/Motor_Sport/Sprints/sprints... seems to be just what you are after - not a member myself but a possibility for the future.

Don't know anything about East Anglia, but if it's anything like my part of the world then the "Road Production under 1800cc" (or whatever the local equivalent is) class is full of Elises, it's like a Lotus showroom at some events hehe

Website is not too up to date - most info will be found under the 'Regs' section.
