I got the blade out for a quick blast to clear the cobwebs!! buy christ you soon forget how quick the bike is when you drive a car every day

then gave her a nice wash and chamois off then put her back in the w/shop until spring smile or maybe sooner wink

I did exactly the same today. Enjoyed a blast on the R1, much fun, especially spinning up the rear in 3rd on the slightly damp tarmac yikes. Still by the afternoon it had dried of enough to open the taps a bit more and roundabouts became considerably more fun than in the morning!

Same here. My new bike was delivered on Wednesday evening and I sat and watched the rain all day Thursday. When there was a hint of a dry day this morning I cancelled everything and found an excuse to run a few errands. Mostly by the scenic route and according to the odometer I managed to stretch the scenic route to a little over eighty miles......

yeah i got out at about 13:30 buy the time i'd got home from work, the roads were dry here all afternoon, only popped out for a hour because i wanted to have enough time in the day light to give her a proper clean and dry off/polish before putting her away as it may be a few weeks before i get her out again....as soon as the gritting lorries are out its game over for the blade, the DRZ get used all year round (greenlaning) so i still have a laugh

New bike is a 2006 749S. Always wanted a Ducati and this one came up. First impressions are great and I fear the CBR600 isnt going to get taken out much now unless its raining - I am not going to let the Duke get wet. Probably a good thing as I suspect the Honda electrics will do better in the wet!

Hi Matt, yes, defintely doing both the 24hr and the Classic Le Mans this year and look forward to meetiing up. I will not be going down on the bike. I might get the race car road legal for the 24hr and probably doing the classic in an old Jaguar.
