Been thinking of reinforcing the chassismounting

What do you think, only on one side of each mounting?

And yes the tape becomes ironplates

What makes you think it needs strengthening?

Why not just box the "ears" with a plate? That's what I will do this winter. Only the lower ones I gues since they are the ones I bent on my car.

Plates on the ears is of course also possible.

But this also gives some extra strength where you need it.
I want to use stronger imbusbolts and they fits in nicely
