What's the reason for lowering the already lowered floorpan. I hope there are no speed humps were you live. I have the lowered floor and the bolts for the seat rails catch as I drive off my trailer. It was the same bolts that caused problems at my local dyno.

Understand what you are trying to achieve but am not making out how you are doing it with just the slots across the floor.

Unless you are then going to slit up the sides of the floor towards the front so the seat tilts back.

The chairs of Ultima have no FIA homologation, so I bought recaro's

These have one low point, that's where the hole in the bottom is for.

Will make a little box in there and some "scratching" strips

When I put my helmet on there is no problem anymore.

Thinking of changing the rollcage also.

I Hate the lowered floor plan in the first place, but going even lower would not work in the UK....counter sunk my seat bolts from underneath as the bolts and dome nuts kept hitting speed bumps..... the GTR just hasn't got the room for some of the taller people, yes they can fit but not with helmets and not with any really comfortable room...knees on the dash etc.. over 6 2" is not fun in a GTR possable but just a compromise

I think you can get another 2 inches of head room by making a bag seat and then trimming it- one of my long term projects!

In holland we have the stupid things also.

Thought I will hit these and other bumps anyway
that's why I want to make also slidingstrips at the lowest part under the car.
Think one centimeter steel will do the job for several years.

2 bits a 5x25mm UHMW should do as a good rubbing strips. UHMW is a very strong PTFE stile plastic but has much better wearing capabilities, we use it at work and it's actually harder wearing than steel in some applications....

That sounds like a really good idea....Sounds like a new mod then!
...any chance you could 'obtain' some for me? Obviously happy to throw a bit your way...Would be good to mount some strips under the front nose and any other areas of potential contact....

Speed bumps are one thing, destoying the aerodynamics is another... The lowered floor is not good and makes the car slower on the track. I got the impression that you where trying to build a very fast Ultima... If the Recaros are the problem, sell them and buy seats that are made for a more reclined race car seating possition. Tillet B4 ie. Just a friendly advice

It only will be 1 cm deep
and its a flowing form, thats why the hole is so big.
