I'm musing here. I've seen close up an ls1 conversion with the air-con on the passenger side and the oil scavenge pump on the driver's side. All straightforward stuff. The ls7's a bit different but still easy to replicate and improve.

Is there a demand for a 600 hp plus UK conversion with traction control (I'm thinking DTA S80 Pro) and a non ls7 ecu? It would be mapped in the car on a RR in the UK.

Yes, that's why I'm considering it but it does depend on what 'the conversion' actually consists of. I'd still use the ls7 lump but with a revised cam etc. I'd offer a cable throttle body (or aftermarket throttle) and DTA S80 Pro plus offer a RR session to map it as an option. People may want to be in control of their engine paramaters so a UK ecu would be specified along with a custom harness.
