mg zr vvc conesion - help needed asap!

my head gasket recently went a couple of weeks ago on my 1.8 k series none vvc, so iv had the head taken off and then got hold of a cheap vvc lump, with no box but with inlet etc. am I able to put the vvc head onto my original engine and run it as a vvc engine? if i can, what would i need? vvc engine loom? vvc ecu? any help appreciate, but i need to know asap as my cars sat in the garage in the way lol. text me anytime if you can, 077 900 26164. cheers, brett
