Playing a DVD Movie in a 5/6 Series??

I have ordered the new 635d Convertible with Professional Navigation (I think this is a very similar system to the 5 Series Professional Navigation?)

I would like the ability to watch DVD Movies on the front screen.

Had anybody else managed to do this? If yes, was it easy or did you get a 3rd party company to help (if so, who?)?

Do you need to specify to TV option to achieve this?

i think you have to specify the TV option, but then you cant actually watch it when the car is moving. I remember reading though that you can have the car modded to allow this. It might be something to do with the switch at the handbrake. Try rooting around on www.bmwland.co.uk or post a question there. I'd put it on the general forum as i think it applies to the 5 series too.

This is possible but it is VERY complicated - I wouldn't bother TBH as it's f u c k s up the warranty big time!
