I was at my Mums uncles today helping him put the body on his new car project, and was talking to him about his old 400se wedge which he used to own...

turns out, its Blaines 'Hank!'

how long ago did he have the car, did he do anything to it. i am about to lift the body off to sort the chassie, has he got any pictures of the time he owned the car?

He sold it to the guy before you bought it, didnt have it too long though, i think he was made redundant....

He's got some photos but not digital and he's not a pistonheader. Ill see what i can do when i see him and send some copies to you! He said it was a lovely car!

Shame about the body off chassis repair you need, good luck with that!!

don't mind doing the chassie, at least every thing will be sorted by the time it is back on the road. did he do any thing to the engine?

I think he swapped it for a 5.0L

Ha Ha! After the Dyno at the wedge fest, who knows!!

Well, he didnt do anything like that, think he did the brakes, bushes, various seals and usual servicing stuff...

As i said, he didnt have it long and i only saw it once...i never even went in her, my Dad did though!
